I was approached by the Aids Committee of Toronto to create a card deck about drug use and harm reduction that matched their current deck about safe sex.
I had a blast brainstorming and drawing up the cartoons for each of the letters for this series. They each attempt to be cute, subtle and hopefully clever ways to illustrate a variety of drug references. The overall style was inspired greatly by the exisiting 'A to Z of Sex Deck' created by another artist in which I tried to match to create the feeling of a 'series' amongst the two decks.
The cards were received with a very positive reaction and are still in circulation today.
I have also since been asked to redraw the original sex deck which should be available anyday!
