The Brain Day program was created by Parachute Canada (formerly ThinkFirst Canada) to teach grade-school aged children about wearing a helmet, the importance of protecting your brain and included many fun interactive activities.
I broke out my pencil and illustrated up a storm to create a comic book style theme that would present the content in a fun and engaging way for the kids, as well as be cost effective to print and reproduce.
The program was offered in both Engish & French with accompanying resources to match the style of the booklets. This program and these materials are still used today to educate children across Canada about their brains.
